Agriculture Education Foundation Scholarship Requirements
Who: Any student who meets the minimum qualifications and enrolled or planning to enroll in an agriculture teaching major or 4-H extension major at any of Ohio’s three Universities offering these programs or another two year or four-year school in Ohio offering a two plus two program or another pathway to become an agriculture teacher or extension educator.
Students enrolled in a similar program outside of Ohio may also apply so long as they can confirm their program will allow them to educating in Ohio and they are willing to make a commitment to educate in Ohio upon graduation.
Minimum Academic Requirements: Scholarship recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 collegiate GPA. Incoming freshmen must have a 2.75 cumulative high school GPA to qualify for the scholarship.
Community Requirements: Scholarship recipients must be able to show a commitment to community and assisting younger children in their community. They must have experience in some form of a community service focused organization. Preference will be given to those whom have showed measurable attainment in their community activities.
Application: The application will consist of three total prompts. The first two prompts will ask for answers in 150 words or less and an extended response of 400 words or less.
